The Alex Ross collection showcases the work of this world-renowned comic book artist and his depictions of well-loved superheroes, Batman and Superman.

Whilst previous illustrations of Batman have depicted his eyes as simple white slits, in Grim Gargoyles Ross gives Batman a more human interpretation with a clear view of the superhero's eye. This piece also showcases his ingenious use of light and angles which results in a striking photorealistic effect.
