Clocking On, Clocking Off
"When I left school I ended up working for a construction company as a joiner, a job I hated with a passion. Sometimes when I was travelling to whatever site I happened to be working on, there were moments that were filled with beauty, especially on those cold crisp mornings when the ice was still on the ground and the rooftops and the light hung a veil over everything. This is what I was trying to re-create when I painted this scene," Alexander Millar.
