Desert Poodle In Autumn Plumage

This collection of colourful mixed-media original artworks features some of Billy Connolly’s most iconic images from his unmistakable Born on a Rainy Day series.

When questioned if this piece was a camel that became a poodle, Billy says: “This one really shocked me, it dictated what it should be. The fluffy bits started appearing against my will. It went its own way. Beyond halfway I wasn’t in charge of it anymore, I just had to keep up with it. I don’t know what it is or why it happened, but I’m very proud of it. It’s a delight.”
