Gironkey With Blue Moon

This mixed-media original artwork is part of a selection of Billy Connolly's favourite images. Billy has revisited them with new colours to bring a whole new dimension to these already iconic pieces, making them extraordinary artworks ideal for collectors.

This time we see Billy’s ‘Gironkey’ creature with a magical blue moonbeam glowing above. Billy says: “This fella, when I started him, I didn’t know what he was going to be. I thought he was going to be a donkey, then he became this - a gironkey. He looks like one of those pantomime horses with a person inside it. I like this, it makes me happy.”
