Truce

Well-loved artist Bob Barker is known for his heartwarming depictions of love, family and childhood. His new giclée on canvas illustrates his signature ‘Northern Impressionism’ style, which contrasts light and shadow with an inner glow inspired by the mill towns of his youth.

Speaking on this piece, Bob says: “This captures a moment in time. It’s obvious that he’s in a bother – he’s done something wrong, but unsure completely what. The only thing he can do is offer a truce and hope that she takes it.”
