Under The Bridge

Demonstrating his sensibility for storytelling, Point Blank is a notably observant series of works that reads like a glimpse into Bob Dylan’s visual journal. The collection is infused with a distinct spontaneity, as if capturing fleeting moments or memories.

This piece is painted from the point of view of a person stood on one of the 37 bridges spanning the Seine in Paris. As the viewer, we are invited in to inhabit the space Dylan depicts, provoking our imagination to contemplate the scene and find poetic resonance in the details.  

Based on a ‘quick study’ created between 2021 and 2022, the original drawing was then painted over with vibrant colours and expressive brushwork.

This artwork is available individually, as a set of four landscapes or a complete set of eight.
