EEEK A FREAK!

Featuring an alien or ‘freak’ character, in this piece Boy George explores themes of identity and belonging. Hand-embroidered with rich beading, the playful figure challenges the concept of what defines an outsider, inviting viewers to reflect on the vastness of nature and the universe. The work raises the question of whether anyone should be labelled an outsider in a reality so limitless and diverse.

The piece is hand-framed with a bespoke design, created especially to complement the features of the artwork.
