This hand-sketched study saw Boy George use various drawing tools to depict two titans of fashion, Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld. Vogue editor-in-chief Wintour shared a close friendship with the late, German fashion designer Lagerfeld.

In this piece, Boy George captures their personal and professional connection, as well as their chic signature styles, in an atypically soft way. As a well-documented style pioneer himself, he chose to depict two fellow icons, both known for their distinctive influences in fashion and design.

Boy George's extraordinary collection of mixed-media original and unique artworks portrays a host of known and unknown icons, exploring themes of identity, transformation and judgement.
