Ace of Hearts

This stunning signed limited artwork by Dan Lane features two of the artist's renowned stylised skulls and a cascade of white orchids set upon a luxurious background. Mounted and framed in black pine, it also features the words "Stay Lucky" which has become one of the artist's trademarks.

Part of a series of four, Dan has taken inspiration from his love of unique decks of cards and the magic tricks and meanings behind them to create this artwork. A "simple message of love" is the particular meaning behind the Ace of Hearts for the artist and this can be seen in the macabre romance of the piece and its sharp red accents. Although Kings, Queens, and Aces is a theme that has been revisited by the artist, this is the first time that he has made a series of cards from the same deck in his style!
