Cotton Tail

This piece is an exciting change for David, who normally paints large, powerful animals such as lions and tigers. He explains: “Keeping it tender was important whilst increasing its size. It’s a ‘gloves-on’ kind of painting, which is reflected in the technique.”

The artwork is also complemented by David’s other spring 2018 release – Lion’s Call – with him likening the contrast of rabbit and lion to a fable.
