Shu
Contemporary Spanish artist, fashion designer, and writer Domingo Zapata created his Pandamonium collection after hosting a New Years Eve party in SoHo New York. The radical artist who has undertaken such global projects as murals in the Colosseum in Rome, Plaza Hotel New York and some for the Saudi Royal family, bought a selection of teddy bear pandas and nailed them to his walls in a abstract artistic installation.
Since then, the artist has transferred these avant-garde artworks onto canvas, titling them after inspirational Chinese words. This totally unique hand-embellished print featuring original abstract strokes of oil paint by Domingo Zapata is titled after the Chinese word for 'Tree'. The result is a bold, bright and beautiful artwork with a contemporary flare.
