Dreamscape | Framed set of three
Hand-signed Flatbed Giclée on Glass set by Raphael Mazzucco.
Exploring half-awake moments and the feeling of distant memories, Mazzucco blurs the line between reality and reverie with his signature blend of raw, gritty photography, vivid colour, and layered resin. Shot over decades with iconic muses including Adriana Lima and Gisele Bündchen, Dreamscape is a visceral blend of beauty, memory and imagination.
"Dreamscapes is a place where memory blurs with imagination—a soft, strange world you want to return to, even if it never truly existed."
From the salt-kissed coasts of Tulum to the city-side haze of Montauk, Dreamscape feels like a whispered memory or a dream half-remembered. Golden pastel palettes melt into sunlit silhouettes, whilst vibrant strokes of paint bring unexpected intensity to moments suspended in time. Each artwork in the collection is a map of emotion filled with images and ideas that layer, interrupt, erase and blur.
The artist offers contrast and cohesion where the image is repeated or disrupted, alluding to hazy, hard to reach memories, dissolving and reforming to create artworks within artworks, like dreams within dreams.
The depth created in the originals by the incorporation of layered photographs, ripped paper and loose pigments is perfectly reflected in the limited editions in a brand-new medium for the artist, printed on glass. The glass beautifully reflects the colour luminosity of the resin originals using reverse printing and float mounting techniques, which suspend the image within the panel, adding an ethereal aesthetic to the artwork.
"I wanted to create something that felt like a dream — not a specific place, but the feeling of going there, a place you return to in your thoughts, the moment you close your eyes."
The artworks are hand-signed flatbed giclée on glass limited editions by Raphael Mazzucco. The set includes:
