John’s distinctive sculptured paintings are created using the same easel he was gifted with one Christmas as a twelve-year-old boy. Drawing upon the words of Pablo Picasso, John mixes the inhibition-free style of children’s art with the carefully-planned paintings of his adult self.

He prefers to paint using oils, as he enjoys the freedom of the colours and textures he can create with this medium.
