John D Wilson explains his work saying: "Reverse perspective is often referred to as 3D, by painting the perspective on the picture back to front thus giving the viewer the illusion of seeing what's at the back of the picture being brought forward to the front, this also makes the picture appear to move as you view it. Using a limited palette of Titanium White, Lamp Black, Prussian Blue, Yellow Ochre and Vermillion Red, this gives the picture the Lowryesque look."
