Although Jon Jones insists that he hated the school run with his kids, he remembers fondly the journey to and from school when holding his son's hand as he asked his father impossible questions about the world around him. The artist has captured this intimate yet widely shared moment in a signed limited edition artwork. Although exclusively conveyed in black and white, a warmth radiates from within the artwork and viewers can see that the child feels safe, secure, and protected.

Made in Birmingham is a brilliant collection by Jon Jones which not only reflects the artist's own identity and background, but also the nature of his invigorating artworks- some currently on a huge exciting display outside Birmingham New Street Station. Jon has kept true to his hometown and artistic genre throughout his career. He explores the dark history of Birmingham through macabre colour palettes and atmospheric figurative works.
