Formerly known as Marvel Age, Marvel Adventures was an imprint of Marvel Comics intended for young readers. Marvel Adventures comics tell a standalone story as opposed to the standard Marvel comics in which the story arcs spread through several issues. The great late Stan Lee, American legendary comic book writer started in 1942 as an editorial assistant for Timely Comics. The Manhattan-born Lee wrote, art-directed and edited most of Marvel’s series, becoming one of the most important figures in the creation of the Marvel Universe.
