As the winner of the People’s Choice Award at IN:SIGHT 2017, we are delighted to present the photographer’s debut collection.

The body of work saw Matthew travel to Italy, Germany and France to capture the world’s most beautiful abandoned buildings. This image was taken on a beautiful sunny morning in rural Italy.

Matthew says: “I was enchanted by the overgrown and rusty gates. I hope viewers get a sense of the lost grandness of this once-majestic villa.”
