Diamond
Each piece in Natalie's new collection is inspired by a different precious gemstone. She says: "These rare products of nature have inspired philosophers and mystics to attribute unusual powers to these special minerals."
This piece is inspired by the diamond stone. The artist says: "We know it as the most popular gemstone, outselling all other gemstones combined. However, the diamond has also come to symbolise much more. It has a meaning of everlasting love. The ancient Romans and Greeks had a lot of powerful beliefs about diamonds, including ideas that diamonds were the tears of the gods or possibly even splinters that had broken off falling stars."
