Addicted

In his iconic wall sculptures, Joly creates humorous depictions of everyday life, and the vices of the modern world are combined with touching explorations of subjects such as mental health. In this piece, the artist created a composition with a sign quoting “Love is my Drug” being assembled by his figurines in red empty pills. Representing that “love is more addictive than any substance”, Nic believes that love is the best drug.

The artist was inspired to create this simplistic, yet beautiful piece as an homage to love and as a reminder that we should all strive to make the world a better place. This piece is a 3D Wall sculpture.
