The 2026 instalment in Nic Joly’s The Next Chapter collection marks a meaningful conclusion to a body of work created to celebrate Nic’s connection with his collectors over the course of his decade with Castle Fine Art. It explores thought-provoking topics while acknowledging the lessons and experiences that have shaped Nic creatively and personally. Deeply rooted in reflection, it’s inspired by the embrace of the belief that the future is not separated from the past but rather informed by it.

Instantly relatable, ‘Lost Without You’ depicts a couple standing together with a map stretching out behind them. At first glance, the artwork appears to be about finding your way, but there’s a deeper layer. The depiction of the compass next to the couple is a representation of trust and guidance, while the map reminds us of all the unknowns and possibilities not just in relationships, but in life - ultimately representing that having someone by your side makes any journey feel meaningful and possible, even when the way forward isn’t clear.
