Rocket Man
Following the success of his superhero series, Nigel Humphries has untied his cape and dived paintbrush-first into the history of rock and pop icons for his new collection, Mixtape. The collection takes us back to an era of homemade cassettes and, like any good mixtape, it’s eclectic but it’s one you’ll want to repeat over and over again!
Taking inspiration for this piece from Elton John, Nigel says: “With this one, I wanted to capture his more energetic gigs of the 1970s and so I chose to have him standing whilst playing the piano in his flamboyant stage outfit.”
