Following the success of his superhero series, Nigel Humphries has untied his cape and dived paintbrush-first into the history of rock and pop icons for his new collection, Mixtape. The collection takes us back to an era of homemade cassettes and, like any good mixtape, it’s eclectic but it’s one you’ll want to repeat over and over again!

Taking inspiration for this piece from ABBA, Nigel says:  “At the present time there are no Funko Pop figures of ABBA, so this painting required a great deal of research in order to capture their classic costumes. They have had numerous hits, a small selection of which I have included in the ripped paper in the backgrounds of this painting.”
