Taken from Nigel’s chart-topping Mixtape collection, this adorable print depicts one of the most influential musicians of all time.

As the lead singer of the rock band Queen, Freddie Mercury is remembered for his extravagant stage persona and impressive four-octave vocal range. Nigel captured his sumptuous velvet cape and bejewelled crown with detailed brushwork.

Nigel says: “I think this is my favourite piece from my Autumn 2020 collection. Freddie is a fun character to paint, and this artwork makes me smile. I also had to research to capture every detail – including his crown and chest hair!”
