Clifftop House

Working side-by-side in the studio with his daughter over the summer of 2018 led to the charming new works from Paul Corfield. Beginning with a sketch and a sepia wash, the painter then applies oils to make the colours of his rolling hills stand out.

Speaking on this piece, Paul says: "The scenes are completely invented but do have a resemblance to the Dorset coastline. The collaboration with my daughter was great fun and it’s something we hope to do again.”
