Paul says: “The hills were first painted in flat colour in a dark-to-light gradient, with bright blues for the distant hills to punch in some colour. Over the top, dots were applied for the trees. I’ve added orange accents where the light catches the treetops.”
To celebrate 15 years with Castle Fine Art in 2020, Paul reimagined this scene for a larger artwork titled 'The Forest Path'.
