Liquid Sky

Like the Impressionist painters before him, Paul Kenton evokes moods and emotions with his colours, free shapes and dripped lines. In a collection that captures two of the most iconic cities in the world, he continues to define a new genre of cityscape art. This piece is taken from his London/New York series. 

Paul explains: “This painting continues my fascination with the way colour can dramatically affect the mood and essence of a place. Here, the rich orange sunset burns intensely, emphasising the silhouetted Manhattan Bridge in the centre, and the surrounding towering buildings.”
