Monochrome

Exploring moods and feelings are the backbone of Paul’s creations. Often painting places he has visited, Paul tries to relive his feelings and memories of those cities.

“I wanted Monochrome to encapsulate the feel, light and energy of an evening in New York after a downpour. The grey, always busy, wet roads reflect colours back up at the city. With the speeding yellow cabs and advertisement billboards, I hope the viewer will be transported to a city full of life and possibility.”
