Venetian Waters

Acclaimed artist, Paul Kenton, who lives and works in his beloved north Devon, creates a new collection, the Personal Collection, focused on his love for travelling, a central part of the inspiration that fuels his artworks. Whilst the artist uses the technique of ‘Plein Air’ to create small pieces while on location, so he is able to experiment with different mediums and materials, but also so he is able to clearly capture the atmosphere of the location that he is trying to portray.

Always ‘searching for the best light’ weather that is through reflections of monumental buildings, the reflections of the ocean or the natural light created in the countryside, this collection is a beautiful capsule of different locations from Italy to New York, Barcelona to Switzerland depicted through different mediums.

In one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Kenton mainly focuses on live painting and capturing the magic culture of Venice, Italy as depicted in this original.
