The much-loved characters from the iconic comic strip Peanuts created by Charles M. Schultz have inspired Richard Levine's new collection. Wrapped merges the silhouettes of Snoopy, Woodstock and Charlie Brown with iconic patterns used by artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Piet Mondrian.
Richard says: "This piece is inspired by Schultz's ubiquitous image of Snoopy balanced on his kennel. The design is transferred using a continuous flow of patterns and colour. The target, which is often seen on Snoopy's kennel in the artist's original cartoons, is represented in the colours of the overall design."
