Perfecting Beauty

Richard has travelled the world in search of the most exciting locations to inspire his pieces.

Speaking on this piece, he adds: “Perfecting Beauty took four attempts. I painted the aurora last – in reverse order – so it wasn’t covered by the clouds. To some, this is a small part of the painting, but to me it was a huge achievement and breakthrough in my unique style of painting.”
