With the continuous swirling lines and the limited brown palette, Oxley precisely captures the essence of the big cat in this original painting. Discovering that using one colour streamlined his work, he modified his approach to painting, finding the form of the animal first before adding his signature drips. Oxley’s distinctive drip effect captures the fluid movements of the animal on the canvas.
