Hendrix - Woodcut
Originally released in 2005 as an edition of 175, this rare piece has been taken from the Rolling Stones star’s personal archive for his Private Collection, which includes some of the most sought-after limited editions from his artistic career.
Captured in the artwork is the late guitarist and songwriter Jimi Hendrix. The ‘Purple Haze’ singer and Ronnie briefly shared a flat in Holland Park, London in the 1960s, when the pair were budding musicians. Today, Ronnie counts Jimi amongst his biggest inspirations.
A decade after its original release, the piece is still celebrated for its energetic portrayal of a fellow musical legend.
