Home From Home - Autumn 2023 - Set of Five
Contemporary landscape artist, Paul Corfield paints charming landscapes, fuelled by his imagination and the Dorset landscape. From sunset-soaked hills to seaside cliffs and snow-laden trees, Paul’s beautiful landscapes explore the beauty of nature. His timeless idealist style is reflected on his paintings with the airbrushed appearance, incredibly detailed elements, and the injection of light into every part of a painting.
The new instalment of “Home from Home” has taken elements from two of his different styles - one more focused on rolling landscapes and seascapes and one more focused on hyperrealism compromising portraitures and abstract work - giving a progressive contemporary feel to his work, whilst pushing and developing his technique and style. All the pieces of this collection evoke a sense of familiarity and they remind us of places we’ve been with a dream-like quality.
The artist told us “The next paintings all include new elements that I'm starting to inject into my style. From March 2023 I decided it's time to change a few things up, the two smaller pieces have the grass being added to foreground hills and flowers also. I'm experimenting with softening the dotting on the trees and bushes, tree shapes are changing a little, I'm working on new ways to paint cliff faces, new ways to draw cloud shapes, overall, though keeping the thing that is my recognisable 'Corfield' style.”
Paul’s paintings are pieces of heavenly perfection, a special place where everyone is welcome. Presented an idealised view of nature, his limited-edition prints, and original oil paintings add a feeling of peace and tranquillity to any living space.
The pieces included in the set are Hand Varnished Giclée on Canvas.
