Into the City

The famously vibrant Manhattan skyline comes alive with dazzling lights and the fast-paced movement the city is known for. Full of colour and darkness, the artist brought the gritty and hustle of the iconic city to an artwork. With dripped lines and splattered paint, the artwork has an energetic and loose feel to it, adding to the vibrant atmosphere with the artist favourite building, The Chrysler, proudly overlooking Manhattan. Capturing the fast-paced movement of the traffic with lights trailing into the distance like a movie scene. The neon colour palette portraits the electric energy of the city at night. “Into the City” was filmed with Beau Black, American composer, musician, and songwriter.

The contemporary British artist Paul Kenton, famous for his urban landscapes and cityscapes, returned with a bright and lively new collection. Using travel has a main source of inspiration, Kenton’s wanderlust and curiosity expresses itself through the paintings which evoke a sense of freedom, spontaneity, and endless possibility.

Originally painted as a monumental piece, world famous architecture has been the visual anchor for each of the four new creations.

Recognized for his distinctive style which often incorporates neon tones to create glowing elements, metallic paints to enhance the shimmering tones, bold colours, energetic mark making to capture the vibrant atmospheres and, by adding layers of paints, texture which plays a crucial role in adding depth to the vibrant pieces.
