The tree in the centre of this limited edition artwork represents both the artist in contemplative isolation and his family tree. Created to the song 'Time' by Hans Zimmer, viewers can feel the sense of calm isolation and unity that the artist intended to convey when he explores such incredible examples of nature.

Reverse printed in layers onto glass and mounted in black painted ayous wood, this artwork perfectly reflects the incredible painting techniques used in his original artworks. Richard spearheads the artistic medium of reverse painting onto glass which allows him to preserve vibrant colours and achieve microscopic detail. To do this, Richard also has to create his tools which have been developed over the last decade. From singular paintbrush hairs to a wooden spatula, and top secret formula to blend his paints, Richard's immense craft and artistry is seen in every inch of sky and mountain.
